Painting 1
Painting is a quarter-long class dedicated to learning and practicing painting techniques. Students will learn basic color theory, watercolor techniques, and practice using the Art Elements and Principles of Design to convey mood and meaning in their work.
*A spiral-bound sketchbook or notebook is required for this class I recommend taking this class following Exploring Art and Drawing. |

Assignment Plan for this Quarter:
This class is planned using the North Carolina 7th grade Essential Standards.
Students earn a daily grade for attempting the warm-up as class begins. Daily grades are averaged weekly for Classwork grade.
